2019 King Of The Range
Where: Located in the hills behind Albury, 15min from Fairlie , 45 min from Timaru.
When: 2 Feb 2019
Zero: 1 Feb, 1300 - 1500hrs
Meals: Byo Breakfast and Lunch. BBq Dinner Available
This Challenge will consist of 5 stages: 5 rounds per stage
Two Classes for Entry : .338 Cal and under, 1000- 2000m
Open Class up to .50Cal, 1000- 2000m
Main match Max 25 rounds consisting 5 rounds at each of 5 Targets between 1000m to 2000m,
Monster energy can 1000m shoot, Max 10 rounds.
Milk jug Challenge 1200m, Max 10 rounds.
Product displays and demos from Gunsnz, Stager Sport, Zeiss, Christensen, Rifle Ranch Target Systems.
Shooting will be prone only. The course of fire is suitable for all fitness levels. Each shooter will need to carry own equipment(but not far, we park at the firing point).
4WD access only onto range.
The shoot will go on regardless of inclement but not serious weather however there is plenty of time set aside for standing around the campfire keeping warm.
There will be a range available Friday afternoon (1st) to zero your rifle, (no other time is available) practice range has 100m on paper.
Absolutely no tracer, incendiary, steel core or other hardened penetrator/projectiles.
Competition briefing will be 8.30 am, First rounds down range at 0900,
Firearms licence to be presented before shooting is allowed.
Everyone present will be required to sign a release, discharge, indemnity form at the first briefing prior to match commencement. A copy of which, for information purposes, can be found Here
