2020 King Of The Range

 

Where: Located in the hills behind Albury, 15min from Fairlie , 45 min from Timaru.

When: 1-2 Feb 2020

Zero: 31 Jan, 1300 - 1500hrs

Round Count: Max 60

Cost: $250

Meals: Byo Breakfast, Lunch Provided.

This Challenge will consist of 5 stages:             5 rounds per stage

                                                                       

Two Classes for Entry :            .338 Cal and under, 1000- 2000m

                                                    Open Class up to .50Cal, 1000- 2000m

                                                    
Each Morning will consist of a world record distance attempt, three rounds.
Main match each day Max 25 rounds consisting 5 rounds at each of 5 Targets between 1000m to 2000m,

Additional Details:

Shooting will be prone only. The course of fire is suitable for all fitness levels. Each shooter will need to carry own equipment(but not far, we park at the firing point).

4WD access only onto range.

The shoot will go on regardless of inclement but not serious weather however there is plenty of time set aside for standing around the campfire keeping warm.

 

There will be a range available Friday afternoon (31st) to zero your rifle, (no other time is available) practice range has 100m on paper.

 

Competition briefing will be 0600 (am), First rounds down range at 0900,

Firearms licence to be presented before shooting is allowed.

Everyone present will be required to sign a release, discharge, indemnity form at the first briefing prior to match commencement. A copy of which, for information purposes, can be found Here

 

Competition limited to 30 shooters. Confirmation of entry on receipt of payment.
